Nathan Carman to Hold Private Memorial Service for Mother: Report
Linda Carman's sisters believe a service shouldn't be held while there is an active investigation into her disappearance and presumed death.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Middletown native Nathan Carman will hold a private memorial service for his mother Linda Carman, who is presumed dead after being lost at sea last month, at an undisclosed location, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Courant reports that a service had been scheduled for Wednesday morning in West Hartford, but was canceled over the weekend and will be held instead at an undisclosed location.
Linda Carman, 54, was last seen with Nathan when they left Ram's Point Marina in Point Judith on Sept. 18 for a fishing trip on a 31-foot aluminum center console boat, the Chicken Pox.
