Overturned Vehicle Closes Lanes On I-91 In Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, CT — I-91 North is congested for several miles between Exits 18 and 22 due to an overturned motor vehicle between Exits 21 and 22 in Middletown, according to the state DOT. The left and center lanes are closed.

It’s been a day full of accidents in Middletown. Emergency crews recently responded to the scene of a head-on crash on Wadsworth Street.

A vehicle crashed into a home in the area of Washington Street near Newfield Street and West Street earlier this morning and two-car crash temporarily closed the Arrigoni Bridge in both directions.
