PD: Bicyclist to Cop 'I Didn't Do Anything Wrong' As He Rides Into Oncoming Traffic
A Middletown bicyclist was cited by police after he allegedly rode into oncoming traffic and nearly caused an accident.

A Middletown man was issued a summons after he allegedly rode into oncoming motor vehicle traffic and disobeyed an officer’s commands to stop, according to police.
A patrol officer was driving southbound on Main Street near Dingwall Drive Aug. 23 when he saw a man on a bicycle riding southbound on the northbound side of the street, police said.
The officer observed a vehicle almost strike the bicyclist as it made a turn. The officer commanded the bicyclist to stop to which he replied “For what,” and then “I’m on a bike I didn’t do anything wrong,” according to police.

He allegedly rode in front of the patrol officer and made a U-turn across traffic forcing motor vehicles to suddenly stop.
Eventually the bicyclist stopped and police issued him a summons for failure to ride bicycle on the right and breach of peace.
