Teen Arrested for Attempting to Sell Pornographic DVDs to Middletown Students

The Bristol teenager reportedly became belligerent to high school staff, police said.

Bristol resident Alex Tsiongas allegedly attempted to sell pornographic DVDs to Middletown High School students on Thursday, Nov. 6, according to the Middletown Police Department.

Police said the 19-year-old was allegedly trying to sell the movies to students 16 years of age or younger.

“The accused is not a student at MHS and refused to identify himself to MHS staff, becoming belligerent in front of students who were attempting to leave for the day,” according to Middletown police.

Tsiongas reportedly denied all wrongdoing and police said he was uncooperative for the initial part of his arrest and processing.

The accused stated that once he is released, he will be leaving the state and heading across the country,” according to the police report.

Tsiongas was charged with the following:

  • Criminal attempt to commit risk of injury/impairing morals of children under the age of 16
  • Breach of peace in the second degree
  • Criminal trespass in the second degree
  • Loitering in or about school grounds

Tsiongas is set to appear in court on Friday, Nov. 14. He is being held on a $5,000 surety bond.
