'Robin Hood' Charged with Shoplifting in Middletown: Report

MIDDLETOWN, CT — A 61-year-old woman faces shoplifting charges after allegedly stealing more than $360 worth of items she told police she planned to give to the homeless, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports Corine Malack was arrested after allegedly trying to leave the RiteAid on Main Street with $365.02 worth of items in a shopping cart and telling the cashier they were already paid for.
Malack confessed to stealing the items but planned on giving it away to the homeless as a good deed, according to NBC.
