We Were There: Writing Your Military Experiences:
Thursdays at 7 pm July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, Meeting Room 2 All Veterans, either active or retired, are encouraged to come and write about their experiences for their own benefit or to share with others.

2:30pm Activity Room: We will have lots of supplies to make a charming, tiny home to attract fairies, gnomes and other wee folk. If you have your own special decorations, bring them along. For ages 8 - 12.

CT Invents!
Tuesday, July 21
1pm Hubbard Room, For grades 4 and 5 (registration required). Patrick Smith, Education Curator of Museum of CT History, will present a hands-on invention program for kids. Builders’ Club
Fridays, July 17 and 31 4pm Children’s Activity Room. Children ages 6 - 12 are invited to join us for an afternoon of building with the plastic bricks we all know and love. Each meeting will have a builder’s challenge. Due to the small pieces, children must be 6 and over. No registration required.
Baby Rhyme Time
Wednesdays at 1:30 July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, Activity Room. Babies 12 months and under and their grown-ups are invited to join us for songs, rhymes and finger plays in this fun, interactive program. No registration is required.

The Library offers confidential resume critiquing and in-depth interview coaching appointments several times each month with certified resume writers. Improve your interviewing skills and get the job you want. Bob Carlson will assist you by conducting and evaluating your practice interview, either by phone or at Russell Library. CBT can trace it earliest charter to 1766! The CBT Alumni Club will have memorabilia and historical items from this Connecticut institution on display in the case in the main lobby.

Middletown High School Class of 2015 Mural:
Each year (since 2009) the senior art students at MHS create and present a mural to the school. The 2015 mural also celebrates the 175th year of MHS, which began in 1840 in the basement of Christ Episcopal Church - which is now the Russell Library!
