Woman Found Stabbed To Death, Suspect Sought: Middletown Police
Police are searching for a suspect they say should be considered "armed and dangerous" after a woman was found dead in Middletown on Monday.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Police are searching for a suspect they say should be considered “armed and dangerous” after a woman was found dead at a home in Middletown on Monday. Police responded to Green Street for a domestic violence call and officers found a woman who died from an apparent stab wound(s), according to Lt. Heather Desmond.
Desmond said the incident is not related to the fatal stabbing that took place early Sunday morning in the area of Washington Street. The suspect in Monday’s stabbing is William Bigaud, 37, who was seen leaving the scene, according to Desmond.
“Bigaud fled the area and should be considered armed and dangerous,” Desmond said in a news release. “Bigaud has ties to Meriden, New Haven and the Bronx in New York City. If spotted do not approach and call 911 immediately.”

Bigaud is described by police as a black man, 6-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 275 pounds. He was wearing a brown hat, a navy blue and white horizontal-striped shirt, khaki pants and brown dress shoes. He was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry with CT registration AP 18041. Desmond said the Camry is tan, but looks more like gray.
Anyone with any information is urged to call the Middletown Police Department at 860-638-4000.
