Wrong Way DUI Driver Arrested: Middletown PD

MIDDLETOWN, CT — Officers arrested a driver who was under the influence after she drove on the wrong side of Hartford Avenue, according to police.

A patrol officer had to hit the brakes in order to avoid a collision with the wrong-way driver March 9.

Pamela Corson, 38, was pulled over and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, police said. She failed field sobriety tests and refused a breath test.

She was charged with DUI and driving on the wrong way of a divided highway.
