YMCA Leaders Advocate for Families at State Capitol

YMCA leaders unite at the Capitol to advocate for child care, youth programs, swim safety, and stronger community support.

On May 21st, our President & CEO Michele Rulnick, State Senator Jan Hochadel, and VP of Youth Development Candace Crane stood together at the Connecticut State Capitol to champion the issues that matter most to Y families. From expanding access to child care and life-saving swim lessons to strengthening youth development and community wellness, we’re proud to raise our voices for lasting change. Advocacy starts with showing up—and we’re honored to represent the Northern Middlesex YMCA and the families we serve.
