Antoinette “Toni” M. Beach, 84 of Milford, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in New Haven.
Born on May 30, 1926 in Fairfield, she was raised in Southport by her parents, the late Joseph Burr and Viola Mae Scott Godfrey, along with her twelve brothers and sisters, of whom she was the last surviving. She was the wife of Donald Arthur Beach, Sr., a retired Bridgeport Police Officer.
Toni worked as a School Crossing Guard for the Bridgeport School System for many years. She loved working with ceramics with her daughter, Kathy, and was also a member of the Bridgeport Police Woman’s Association.
In addition to her husband Donald of 65 years, Toni is survived by her four children, Katherine B. Rauccio and her husband Carmine of Madison, Donald Arthur Beach, Jr. and his girlfriend Corrie Baker of Clinton, Keith James Beach and his wife Maria of Buna, TX and Gregory Beach of Fairfield. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT, followed by a Prayer Service to be held at 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private. www.codywhitefuneralservice.com
