Candlelight Carol Service - First Church Milford

The First United Church of Christ (on the duck pond) hopes you will come out and join us for a true treasure of the Milford Christmas season. The Candlelight Carol Service is a multi-decade running Christmas tradition that has shared the meaning of Christmas with large audiences from all over. Consisting of candlelight, old and new carols, anthems performed by our dynamic Music Ministry ensembles and meaningful Christmas scripture, all can find meaning in this beautiful service. Highlights include: our Youth Choir doing Carol of the Bells on handbells and singing carols, our contemporary music ensemble (Pilgrim Chorale) performing a modernized version of Auld Lang Syne that reminds us what we have to be thankful you, and our Adult Choir singing many carol favorites, as well as the famous Cantique de Jean Racine by Faure in French!

A good-will offering will be collected for Milford Energy Assistance, which helps families stay warm throughout the holiday and winter seasons. Join us Sunday December 17th at 4pm at First UCC Milford, 34 W. Main St. Milford.
