Cash Register In Port-O-Potty Leads To Arrests: Milford PD
One of the arrestees was also arrested for an unrelated robbery.

MILFORD, CT — Police arrested a man and a woman on burglary charges Oct. 2 after a cash register was found inside a port-o-potty at Grove Circle Park.
The register was taken from the Redwood Inn on Naugatuck Avenue. The owner discovered the register missing as he opened the business.
Police conducted an investigation which included a K-9 track and arrested Nicholas Melita, 26, of Milford and Danielle Gaetano, 33, of Stamford. Gaetano also had an active warrant for failure to appear in court.

Melita was also charged with robbing Wheel's gas station on Naugatuck Avenue in the early morning hours Oct. 2, according to police.
Melita is charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, sixth-degree larceny and several conspiracy charges.

Gaetano is charged with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, failure to appear and several conspiracy charges.
