Connecticut Post Mall Announces New General Manager, Marketing Director

The mall in Milford located at 1201 Boston Post Road includes more than 1 million square-feet of retail.

MILFORD, CT — Centennial, a national owner and operator of regional shopping centers, has announced the addition of two new executives to its Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, CT. Kenneth G. Sterba has joined the staff as general manager and Kelly Frantz has come aboard as marketing director, company officials said in a news release.

"We are pleased to welcome Kenneth and Kelly to the Centennial team," said Mark Thorsen, senior executive vice president of asset management for Centennial, in a statement. "Our goal of providing the most vibrant, community-focused shopping, dining and entertainment will get a boost in Milford with the expertise and ideas that both of these skilled individuals will bring to the team.”

In his new role, Kenneth Sterba will direct the overall day-to day operations of Connecticut Post Mall, manage the onsite team, execute strategic growth plans for the property, and endeavor to create an environment that improves the customer experience. He brings 17 years of operations management experience to Centennial. Most recently he served as general manager of Westfield Meriden, where he was responsible for all aspects of asset management for the property. Prior to that he held assistant general manager positions at Westfield Trumbull and Westfield Connecticut Post under the property's prior management. Mr. Sterba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University.

“Kenneth has already proven himself as an accomplished mall manager and a true visionary. In addition to his skills and market knowledge, he shares our commitment to local communities, which is essential to propelling Connecticut Post as a best-in-class destination," Thorsen added.

As the new marketing director, Kelly Frantz will oversee all mall events, facilitate communication and public relations initiatives, and work to promote the overall strategic growth of the mall. She joins Centennial after five years with Collette Tours, where most recently she served as a senior partnership marketing associate, focused on developing partnerships in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Ms. Frantz received her Bachelor of Science degree and Masters of Business Administration from Bryant University.
