Contractor Bilked Customer Out Of $9.5k: Milford PD
A contractor is accused of taking $9,500 for a job, but not performing any work, according to police.
MILFORD, CT — An Oxford contractor was arrested after he took money for a job, but never did it, according to police.
Matthew Komar, 39, accepted more than $9,500 for a contracting job in July 2021, but didn't do any work, police said.
He was arrested Feb. 16 on an active warrant and charged with third-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear.
