Cool New Business Opens In Downtown Milford

MILFORD, CT — Do you love board games? Do you love deals? Well here's the perfect new place for you. A new business, Hawkwood Games, has opened in downtown Milford at 50 Broad Street and according to its website, it offers a "variety of over 300 tabletop games including boardgames, card games, and more."

"Here's how we work: For a $5 dollar entry fee you can play all day. While you're here, we have coffee, tea, and soda, as well as a variety of food options. Be on the lookout for our Menu, coming soon! Join us for weekly events including Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone, Dungeons and Dragons, and more! Want to meet new people? Come to our open table nights for pick up games for all comers."

The business is closed on Mondays and is open from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. Tuesday through Fridays. The store is open from 11:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. on weekends.
