CT Weather: Snow Accumulation Estimates Released For Strong Storm
The National Weather Service has already issued hazardous weather outlooks and advisories for the upcoming weekend in Connecticut.
CONNECTICUT — In reviewing the less than stellar weather forecast for the next several days, it led me to look up when is the first day of spring. The answer is March 20.
And now back to our imminent weather reality. As Friday progresses, temperatures will plummet and inevitably reach the single digits across the state, according to the National Weather Service. You'll also notice the winds increasing, too, and it will feel much colder than the daytime high temperature of 40 degrees.
On Saturday, temperatures will only rise into the upper teens, but the wind chill factor will make it feel like 10 below zero at times. On Sunday, we bounce back above the freezing mark with sunshine and then after midnight, snow will break out for everyone and some accumulation is expected, according to the weather service.
