Days and Days Of Rain And Thunderstorm Chances: CT Weather

CONNECTICUT — The good news in the upcoming seven-day weather forecast is that today looks good with some sun and dry conditions and the weekend looks fantastic with plenty of sunshine and warm temps.

Now Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are looking pretty dreary with chances of rain showers each day and thunderstorm chances Tuesday night and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. The silver lining is that none of the days looks like a complete washout as the rain chances are around 50 percent each day with the exception being tonight and Tuesday where up to one inch of rain is predicted.

The National Weather Service says "A few weak areas of low pressure will travel along this frontal boundary, bringing chances of showers to the area. The rain could even be heavy at times. The best chances of rainfall will be from very early this evening through Tuesday morning, but there will be a chance at just about any point of time both days. Most of the time will at least feature dry weather. High temperatures will be near normal today and a few degrees cooler on Tuesday."
