Eva Schloss, Holocaust Survivor and Anne Frank's Stepsister to Visit Milford in November
Schloss will be speaking in Milford to help raise money for the Hebrew Congregation of Woodmont.

Holocaust survivor and Anne Frank’s stepsister Eva Schloss will visit Milford on Nov. 2.
The event is organized by the Hebrew Congregation of Woodmont and will be held at the Connecticut Post 14 Theater at 5:30 p.m. Doors for the event will open at 5 p.m. and a VIP reception will be held at 4 p.m.
Schloss, who lives in London and is the trustee of the Anne Frank Educational Trust, will share stories about Anne Frank and the Frank family.

According to the New Haven Register, Schloss is a childhood friend of Anne Frank. Her mother married Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father after the holocaust.
The money raised from the event will be used to help in rebuilding and expanding the Hebrew Congregation of Woodmont. According to the Register, the money will be used to repair the building that was damaged in the fire and will also help create a new Jewish center in Milford.

Tickets for the event are priced at $25 if purchased by Oct. 28, $36 at the door and $20 for students. The VIP reception with Schloss is $95.
The congregation’s Rabbi Schneur Wilhelm told the Register he was looking forward to the event adding that it would be a beautiful event as everyone knew who Anne Frank was.
