Here's How You Can Help The Friends of the Milford Library
They've been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of March 2023.
MILFORD, CT — The Friends of the Milford Library (FOML) has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of March 2023, according to a news release submitted by the organization.
The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
The Friends of the Milford Library was selected as the March beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Stop & Shop located at 855 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, CT. FOML will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during March, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“We are excited about being chosen for the Community Bag Program,” said Pam Pilla, President FOML. “These donations will support quality programs offered by the library and funded by the Friends of the Milford Library.”
The Friends of the Milford Library is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 volunteer organization. All proceeds raised by the Friends are used to fund children and adult programs, museum passes, and expenses not covered by the Milford City Budget.
