Hundreds Attend Vigil For Julie Minogue, Milford Woman Killed Tuesday
Friends and coworkers recalled Minogue's devotion to her three children and her kind personality.
MILFORD, CT — Hundreds gathered Sunday afternoon at Lisman Landing to honor Milford mom Julie Minogue, who was killed Tuesday evening.
Minogue, 40, was a medical assistant at Connecticut Coastal OB/GYN. Her friend and coworker Dr. Rebecca Pringle described her as an amazing mom who loved her children more than anything, according to Hearst CT Media. She also loved taking care of patients and was friends with many of her coworkers.
Minogue is survived by her three sons, Nicholas, Shaun and Luke. Her sister created a GoFundMe to help support the three children.

Police have charged Minogue’s ex-boyfriend, Ewen Dewitt, with murder. He is being held in lieu of $5 million bail. Officers went to a Salem Walk residence Tuesday around 9 p.m. after getting a 911 call from Minogue’s son, who said his mother was being assaulted by a man, police said.
