ID Of Person Found Dead Inside Building After Fire Released

MILFORD, CT — Milford Police said David Dupuis, 54, a homeless man from Milford has been identified as the person who was found dead inside a vacant commercial building at 51 Roses Mill Road.

The building was badly damaged in a fire late Monday. "The cause of death is still unknown at this time, but foul play is not suspected," said Milford police officer Marilisa N. Anania.

The body was discovered after the fire was extinguished. It's still unclear what led to the fire.

According to real estate sites, it's a 1.52-acre site with an existing 10,000-square-foot commercial building. The asking price is $1.6 million, according to a flyer for the site.
