Major Drug Dealer, Fugitive From Justice Busted In Milford: PD

The accused is being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond and was taken into custody this week by several law enforcement agencies, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A suspected drug dealer and fugitive from justice has been arrested in Milford and is currently being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond, Milford Police said.

Between the months of October and November, 2018, members of law enforcement from the DEA Bridgeport Resident Office HIDTA Task Force, Stamford Police Department NOC Unit and Milford Police Department TAC Unit, began an investigation into a male, known as “PRIMO,” for trafficking narcotics within Milford, police said.

On Nov. 12,, the combined efforts of these law enforcement agencies conducted a
motor vehicle stop of a vehicle occupied by a female driver and a male passenger, “PRIMO,” who was later identified as Daryel Rawls, 37, of Neptune, NJ, police said.

During the motor vehicle stop investigation, Rawls attempted to provide police with
a false identity, and is accused of being in possession of crack, cocaine, ecstasy, and
prescription medication, police said.

A warrant check on Rawls showed him to have a fully extraditable arrest warrant out of New Jersey for narcotics related charges, and being a fugitive from justice, police said.

Fugitive from Justice
Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell
Possession of Narcotics
Interfering with Arrest

Rawls was held on a $500,000 bond to appear in Milford Court on November 13, 2018.
