Milford Actress appears in Lifetime's "A Very Merry Toy Store"

Milford's own Mary Kate Malat IMDB will be featured as teen idol singer Stephanie in a new Lifetime movie entitles "A Very Merry Toy Store" directed by Paula Hart along with the notable cast members Mario Lopez (Extra) , Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenaged Witch), Brian Dennehy (Ratatouille), Billy Gardell (Mike & Molly), Mario Cantone (Sex and the City). "Two rival toy shop owners reluctantly join forces when an unscrupulous toy magnate opens a box store in their town." is how the IMDB page describes the movie.

This is Malat's second movie with Connecticut's own Synthetic Cinema who also produced Sorority Nightmare in which she played Tiffany in 2016. Malat who attended Matthewson & Harborside School in Milford, and St Joseph's in Trumbull is currently a senior at UCONN. She was a child model (Wilhelmina, Johnston, CT Kid's and Deb Chasen Agencies) and has modeled for major brands such as Justice, Nike & Espirit, and can be current found on packaging Toys R Us, and Snuggies Blankets to name a few and has posed for American Vogue & Vogue Bambini.
