Milford Company Wins CT Green Bank Award For Outstanding Project

The company has completed a solar power project at its Milford campus.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford company has earned a Connecticut Green Bank award for one of its projects.

Milford Holdings LLC won an award in the "Outstanding Project" category. The company completed a 1.1-megawatt solar project at their property at 80 Wampus Lane in Milford, which houses industrial and manufacturing businesses.

The project is estimated to produce more than $4 million in energy revenue over the next 20 years for the ownership, according to a Connecticut Green Bank statement.

Also recognized for this project are Evergreen Energy LLC of Southington and AEC Solar LLC of West Haven who installed the solar system and Jodi French of KPT Renewables who coordinated the partners to facilitate this project.

The Connecticut Green Bank awards are in the their 10th year. The awards recognize a variety of projects across the state that helped create nearly 30,000 job years and reduced energy cost burdens for more than 71,000 families, businesses, and nonprofits.
