Milford Police: Women Stole Nearly $250 in Groceries from Stop and Shop
Two women were arrested after police received a shoplifting complaint.

Two New Haven women were arrested on Wednesday for shoplifting groceries worth $251.49 from Stop and Shop.
Milford Police received a complaint of the shoplifting and upon investigation Debra Smith, 22, and Nicole Moore, 21, were arrested and accused of taking the groceries without paying for them.
Smith and Moore were both charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.

Moore was also charged with second-degree failure to appear. Moore had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on Dec. 4 relating to motor vehicle offenses she committed in Milford in November 2014.
The duo was given a court date of Feb. 10.
