Milford School Board Member Resigns, New Appointment Made
The school board voted recently to appoint a new member.
MILFORD, CT — The Board of Education has filled a vacancy on the school board.
Cynthia Twiss recently resigned her seat on the Milford Board of Education. Board Governance states that nominations to fill a vacancy on the Board shall be made from the voting district of the political party of the vacating member.

members of the Board at a regularly scheduled board meeting and the action shall be recorded in the minutes of that meeting. The person filling the vacancy will serve until the next regular city election. The Democratic Party 5th District has nominated Emily McDonough Souza to fill the
remainder of the term.
