Milford Stop and Shop Employee Made Fraudulent Refunds: PD
The man made fraudulent returns for months, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A West Haven man was arrested after he made fraudulent refunds while working at Stop and Shop on East Town Road, police said.
Alex Mercado, 28, was arrested June 2 on a warrant. Mercado made fraudulent refunds between January and May totaling more than $720, police said.
He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear.
