Milford Woman Charged With DUI After Crash: Trumbull PD

TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested a Milford woman after she rear-ended a stopped vehicle while intoxicated, according to police.

The crash occurred Jan. 20 in the area of Hawley Lane and Route 108. It resulted in no major injuries, police said.

Kristina Kowalski failed a field sobriety test and was taken to police headquarters where her BAC was measured at .2375 and .2303, police said. Both results are nearly three times the legal limit.

Kowalski was charged with DUI and following too closely. She was held on a $500 bond.
