Milford Woman Shoplifted from Bed, Bath and Beyond: Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman is accused of shoplifting at Bed, Bath and Beyond in Milford, police said.

Police said on Nov. 27 officers took custody of Jessica Melfi, 27, of Bird Lane, in regards to an active warrant for her arrest.

Melfi is accused of shoplifting at Bed, Bath and Beyond on Oct. 26, police said. Melfi entered the store, selected two items from the shelf and went to the return counter to exchange the items for store credit, totaling more than $100, police said.

She is charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on Dec. 20.
