Milford's 2017 4th Of July Fireworks Schedule Released

MILFORD, CT — Milford's big 4th of July fireworks bash is set for Saturday, July 1 at Lisman Landing in downtown. A rain date has been set for July 8, the Milford Mirror reports.

About 25,000 people are expected and shuttle service will be provided from Daniel Wasson Field, Milford Senior Center and Harborside Middle School.

Fireworks are set to begin at 9:15 p.m. and there will be several food trucks present too, the Mirror reports. Live music will be performed beginning at 4 p.m. and running through 11:30 p.m. No taxpayer dollars are used for the fireworks celebration, which costs about $17,000. Bands performing include: Sapphire and Rum Runners.
