New Sign Welcomes Residents to Downtown Milford

Milford now has after much hard work a new sign welcoming residents to downtown Milford.

Milford Economic Development Director Julie Nash in an email wrote the new sign is located on River Street.

“As many of you know, apparently one sign takes a village and several years so a quick thanks to our village. Mayor (Ben_ Blake’s leadership and perseverance lead our efforts and truly made this happen, thanks to MPI and the Chamber (of Commerce) for commissioning the study that developed this idea and their continued unwavering support, thanks to (former state Rep.) James Maroney for helping us work with DOT, Wescott and Mapes the engineering extraordinaires, Rob Kurfehs for the gorgeous design and the list goes on …. and on. It was a great team effort, so nice job Team Milford!”
