A prolific artist, chef, fisherman, Dead Head, golfer, and vegetable gardener, he was always busy pursuing creative endeavors. His art work was often custom-made for friends, family and charitable organizations. Jerry Garcia and other Grateful Dead icons, Scrabble tiles, shells, birds and caricatures were hallmarks of his art. His last drawings, done in the hospital, were amazing caricatures of Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo, gifts for a doctor.
Born in Milford, Tim was the son of the late Joan and James V. Attolino, and grandson of the late Joseph and Anna Vincent, and Jean and James V. Attolino, Sr. Growing up, he played a variety of sports, including football with the Woodmont Packers and basketball with the Gromart Knicks, among others. He graduated from Foran High School where he played football and basketball, then attended Saint Anselm College in Goffstown, NH. He was an owner and chef of the former Ship’s Wheel Restaurant in Milford. He worked for Commercial Furniture for the past 25 years.
Known for the twinkle in his eyes, humor and gift of gab, Tim clearly loved making people smile. He had great times on beaches in Woodmont, Rhode Island, Aruba and Nantucket with Patrice, Timmy, Katie and friends, and practicing cartwheels there. He played the guitar and loved going to concerts with his brothers, friends and family. He had fun fishing on his kayak and riding his moped around Woodmont. He coached Timmy and Katie’s sports teams over the years and he volunteered for and donated art to several organizations, including Special Olympics and Smilow Cancer Hospital. Tim’s generosity spanned across Milford, as he loved sharing his time and artwork with fundraisers and organizations in his hometown. He relished lobster rolls, falafel, and peanut butter and jelly.
