Opposition Mounting Against New Development Plan In Milford: Report

A 12-unit complex is proposed.

MILFORD, CT — Residents around Milford's Seaside Avenue are marshaling opposition to a proposed 12-unit housing development planned for 178 Seaside Ave., reports the Milford Mirror.

The site measures less than an acre, residents say, which they believe is far too small for so many units. Residents opposed a similar type of proposal last year on a different site on the same residential street, and some have posted yard signs in the neighborhood opposing the new plan.

Milford's Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on the proposal at 7:30 p.m. on June 6 in City Hall.
