Parole Officer Left Gun In Fitting Room At Milford Mall: Report
A parole officer has been charged with improperly storing her gun for the second time in six months, according to a report.
MILFORD, CT — A parole officer with the state's Department of Correction has been charged due to failing to properly store a gun for the second time in six months, WTNH News-8 reported.
Wendy Vereen, 47, of Bridgeport, was charged with criminally negligent storage of a firearm.
Vereen is accused of leaving the gun in a fitting room at the Connecticut Post Mall on Friday, according to WTNH News-8.

Vereen was charged in November by Stamford police with improperly storing a pistol/revolver in a motor vehicle. She was put on administrative leave following that incident.
