Popular Outdoor Retailer's Space Advertised As Available In Milford: Report

The retail company was "disappointed" at a landlord's decision to market the space for lease, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — Outdoor retailer REI is facing difficulties with its Milford location, which has been listed in marketing brochures as being available for lease, CT Insider reported.

However, REI said it has a lease on the property that's in place until the end of February 2027.

REI officials said they were "disappointed" in the landlord's decision to market the space, according to CT Insider. The company added that it is continuing to negotiate with the landlord and that the brochures "should not be viewed as the co-op’s intent to depart the shopping center."
