Shoplifter Led Sears Employees On Foot Chase That Ended At Sonic Restroom: Milford Police

Police said the accused was found in a restroom of the popular restaurant.

MILFORD, CT — A woman suspected of shoplifting from Sears in Milford allegedly led loss prevention agents on a foot chase that ended up in the restroom of a nearby Sonic Restaurant, police said.

On May 24, officers received a report of a shoplifter at Sears, 1201 Boston Post Road, who was currently running from loss prevention agents across East Town Road toward Sonic Restaurant, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Dominque White, 27, of Vernon Street in New Haven, who was found in the women's restroom of the restaurant and is accused of taking about $320 worth of items, police said.

She is charged with sixth-degree larceny, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief. She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court, Milford on June 20.
