Snow, Sleet, Rain On The Way For Southern Connecticut Monday
The National Weather Service says there will be several chances for precipitation this week beginning Monday evening. Here's what to expect.
COASTAL SECTIONS OF SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the entire state except for coastal sections of southern Connecticut.
While an advisory has not been issued for the area, there is still a chance for some wintry weather and it may be falling during the evening commute Monday.
The weather service said there is a chance for precipitation to begin around 5 p.m. and continue as a mix of snow, sleet and rain during the evening hours and then around midnight the precipitation will change to plain rain. Again, no advisory has been issued for the area but there is a chance the roads could be slippery this evening and later tonight.
