Suspect In Friday's Standoff In Milford Identified: UPDATE
The accused is facing several charges, police say.

MILFORD, CT — The man who engaged police in a standoff for hours on Friday afternoon has been identified as Barry DeLucia, 48, of Milford, according to WTNH News 8.
On Friday, police responded to 660 West Avenue before 5 a.m. for a domestic violence investigation. Police evacuated nearby residents for several hours and closed a road while the standoff continued. A woman was able to leave the house, according to reports.
Around 11 a.m. Friday, DeLucia exited his residence and was taken into custody without incident, police said. Residents who were evacuated were able to return to their homes just before noon.

DeLucia as of now is charged with third-degree assault, interfering with a police officer, disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief, the Connecticut Post reports.
No other details have been released concerning the incident.
