A winter weather advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. If you've been wondering where the snow is, it's still coming, according to the weather service, but it's expected to arrive later, starting after 7 a.m. now. Many school districts have announced closures due to the expected timing of the snow.

- ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The precipitation may briefly begin as rain before changing to snow by 7 am as temperatures fall below freezing. The advisory has been issued due to the potential high impact of snow falling during the morning rush hour.
