Woman Left 2 Kids In Car While Shopping: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford woman, Jessica Israel, 43, of Herbert Street, is accused of leaving two children under the age of 12 in a car while she was shopping inside a store, police said.

On May 28, police responded to the parking lot of Walmart, 1365 Boston Post Road, on the report of two children left in a vehicle, police said.

"Investigation led to the arrest of Israel who is accused leaving two children under the age of 12 in a vehicle while she shopped in the store," police said.

Israel is charged with two counts of leaving an unsupervised child in a motor vehicle. She was given a court date of July 7.
