Cloudy water conditions at Wolfe Park pool

Water Clarity. Several weeks ago in The Patch there was an article about the lack of clarity in the Wolfe Park pool. The article blamed the copious amounts of sunscreen as a key issue in the problem. A few days after the publication the water became perfectly clear, until today.

Since the sun wasn’t really out the last couple of days, I don’t think we can blame the sunscreen. Instead, as was the issue the first time, the pool filter is not working properly. If it wasn't for the maintenance man manually adding chemicals to the pool several times today, we may have seen the deep end close early (as of 4:30 p.m. it was still open).  We need to get this problem fixed ASAP, as this weekend's weather is suppose to be beautiful.

I was so hoping that my first post in this new blog would be positive. Unfortunately, there have been many issues that have made this year at Wolfe Park my most trying in over ten years of membership.

The intent of this blog, along with my partner Steve Goldstein, is to pick a topic for discussion. Make no mistake, this is YOUR blog ... please comment often and let us know what you are thinking. The only way to let the powers that be know that Wolfe Park can be a better place is to let them know ... daily ... which is why we are here.
