Introduction: To Those Who Do Not Know Me
I am concerned about the direction our Town is going in.
I am not only excited about the opportunity to be the next First Selectman of Monroe, but I have the government experience and know-how to get the job done. I am proud of my distinguished 30-year career serving our Town. I am also proud of the many things I accomplished for Monroe, including the development of the Great Hollow Lake land acquisition and the development of various grants — for example, as the Comprehensive Employment Training Act Administrator I initiated the Dial-A-Dump program.
My current position for the Town of Bethel, as Human Resource Assistant/Grants Administrator, allows me to remain current on HR practices and active in developing grants for another Connecticut municipality. Moreover, I am proud of my work to improve Monroe seniors’ lives with the Senior Van.
I am a 46-year Monroe resident devoted to making Monroe a better place to live. I raised a family, put myself through college during the evening and was also a member of the Monroe Town Council. I always put the best interests of Monroe above politics and I have earned the respect of both parties having been nominated by each for First Selectman.

I am running for First Selectman because I am concerned about the direction our Town is going in. I see plummeting property values, record business closures and a steady decline in the quality of our schools with there being no plan to address these problems.
With your help we can get Monroe back on track.
