L&A Proper Skin Care Tips
Make sure your face always looks its absolute best and you are photo ready for all those vacation pictures!

Since the summer is around the corner, we wanted to inform you of the proper skin care tips that you can use to make sure your face always looks its absolute best and you are photo ready for all those vacation pictures!
Exfoliation: is a good way of making sure that your skin is always radiant. Make sure to exfoliate 2-3 times a week. This works because while exfoliating you are gently scrubbing off all of the dead skin cells allowing for new ones to produce and shine through.
Moisturize: This is very important to help protect your skin from environmental pollutants. The best moisturizers are hydrating and contain ingredients such as: shea butter, milk, jojoba oil, and vitamins A, C, and E. So after showering slather up!

Cleansing: Always wash your face before calling it a day. Make sure all of your makeup is removed because you don't want to set the stage for blemishes. Use cleansers formulated with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, which are pore purgers and minimizers.
H2O: Always make sure to stay hydrated by drinking enough water. To look beautiful it starts on the inside. When your body is dehydrated your skin is the first organ in the body to show it.

Exercising: Believe it or not exercising is actually a great tool for the skin. It circulates the blood and allows nutrients and oxygen to flow to the skin. This makes the skin fresh and radiant; not to mention its bikini time :).
Hands: Never forget to apply moisturizer after everytime you wash your hands. Washing hands sucks the moisture out of the skin in your hands. This also applies to the entire body when it comes to swimming and showering.
*Sunscreen*: UV rays cause signs of premature aging, dark skin spots, large pores and wrinkles. With the sun coming in strong this is the most important information this blog has to offer. Always use spf 15 or higher. Your body needs exactly a shot glass size of lotion to properly protect the entire body. A quarter size amount should be used on the face. This does not mean you are safe for the entire day. UV rays actually breakdown sunscreen about every 2 hours so make sure to always reapply. It takes an average of 15 minutes for sunscreen to actually activate so be sure to apply before heading into the sun as well. Lastly, don't forget all the nooks and crannies. The most common places for sun cancer to pop up are between your toes, on your scalp and in your ears; so make sure cover everything from head to toe.
These helpful tips cannot only be used for the summer but all year long as well! So don't forget to stock up the sunscreen and bring your best face foward!- L&A
