Spring Tennis Lessons with Fairfield County Tennis

Monroe Parks & Recreation welcomes back Greg Sansonetti in his third year along with his excellent adult staff.  Greg, based in Fairfield County, brings over 21 year’s worth of tennis teaching experience. For more information on these tennis programs, please visit www.fairfieldcountytennis.com or contact Program Director, Lorraine Gatto at 203.640.1724 or Greg at 203.414.9453.  Participants will need to bring their own racquets or purchase one through the instructor for $25.  Lessons are held at the Wolfe Park Tennis Courts.

Following are the different levels offered:

Beginner:  Player has either never held a racquet or has played sparingly without having formal instruction.
Advanced Beginner:  Player has had introduction to grips & strokes, starts to make contact with ball on regular basis.
Low Intermediate:  Player is starting to keep the ball in play, learning to serve, can volley, learning court positioning.
Intermediate:  Player can keep ball in play consistently, can hit with some spin, can serve & rally consistently.

Session 1 runs on Fridays, May 3 – June 7. No class May 24, weather related make up June 14.

Juniors age 5-7                        4:00-5:00                     $99 res/$109 non-res

Juniors age 8-11                      5:00-6:00                     $99 res/$109 non-res

Adult Beg/Adv Beg                  6:00-7:00                     $125 res/$138 non-res

Adult Low Int/Int                     7:00-8:00                     $125 res/$138 non-res

Adult classes are for ages 16+ 

Session 2 runs on Saturdays, May 11 – June 15.  No classes May 25, weather related make up June 22.
