Monroe Man Charged in Connection with Fatal ATV Crash

The crash in December left one man dead and injured two.

According to the publication, police said Randall Pippa, 36, allowed his friend John Compton, to drive his ATV with two children on board while he knew that Compton was intoxicated.

Compton was killed in the crash and the two children on board were injured.

Pippa was charged with two counts of risk of injury to children and three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, the Connecticut Post reports. Compton had a blood/alcohol level of .126 at the time of the crash.

Pippa was given a court date of March 4.
