Monroe Man, Weaving on Road, Was Intoxicated, Arrested
Two DWI arrests were made a few minutes apart.

Monroe police arrested a local man Nov. 26 for driving drunk.
Marc Rodriguez, 32, of Monroe was traveling west on Pepper Street allegedly weaving between the center line and the right side of the road, according to the Monroe Courier.
Police did a check of the registration plate and found it had expired in June.

Rodriguez had alcohol on his breath, police said, and failed a field sobriety test, later registering 0.159 on a breath test.
He was charged with driving under the influence and driving an unregistered vehicle.

About 15 minutes later, Monroe police arrested another man who was allegedly intoxicated and ran two stop signs.
