You may remember the ever famous 80s Madonna look for her video "Like a Virgin" where she rocked a frock of bleach blonde hair and severe black roots! Well ombré is very similar to this. The only difference is that any hair type, color and texture can wear this trend. Ombré consists of a darker root and a few inches of the same darker color and then from around mid shaft to ends a lighter color!
Ombré can be achieved at your local salons and should never be attempted at home. The reason for this is that the placement can be complete thrown off and turn into just a bad dye job instead of a trendy look! They do sell homebre kits which is what I call them but they should say home disasters! I have fixed many of these attempts myself.
