Celebrate Small Business Week with Free Business Seminars

Small business owners of southeastern Connecticut are invited to celebrate National Small Business Week with an array of free seminars, expert advice, and an evening of networking!

On June 19, 20, and 22, local business experts and state agencies will come together for three days of free educational workshops designed to empower new and experienced business owners alike. Covering topics from business planning and start-up financing, to employment law, insurance, taxes, and retirement planning. These seminars are designed to celebrate the dedication of local small business owners by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.

As the economic situation shows signs of stabilizing, both new and existing businesses need to position themselves for growth. These seminars are designed to provide business owners with guidance in making the next step for their business and empower them to meet the needs of the local communities.

A fun evening of networking and refreshments on the 19th will enable local business owners to mingle with like-minded entrepreneurs, sharing their stories and successes while adding to their repertoire of connections.

These seminars will be hosted at The Solution Center, a business complex opened in December, 2012 with the goal of gathering a core group of business experts, uniquely qualified to meet the needs of local business owners. Located at 210 Route 32 in Franklin CT, The Solution Center is home to an energetic and growing selection of business professionals who are dedicated to creating “alliances of excellence” for local businesses and, through them, strengthening local communities.
