The Connecticut Higher Education Trust (CHET) is sponsoring “Reading Makes Cent$,” a summer reading program for children in grades K-8. Any child who reads this summer is eligible to win a $250 CHET direct-sold 529 college savings account. CHET is partnering with the Connecticut Library Consortium and Connecticut State Library to make reading a priority this summer. Eight winners – one from each county in the state – will be chosen at random.
