Decision Reached On Competency Of Montville Double-Murder Suspect
Marcus Fisher, 18, has been accused of murdering his grandparents.
MONTVILLE, CT — The 18-year-old accused of stabbing his grandparents to death in their Montville home in January has been deemed competent to stand trial, reports The Day.
In a report by the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Office of Forensic Evaluations writes that Marcus Fisher has psychosis and abuses alcohol and marijuana. He may need medication, but can stand trial, officials said.
Fisher is accused of killing Gertrude Piscezek, 77, and John Piscezek, 76, following an argument on Jan. 28. He also allegedly tried to burn down the home.
